Hi, I am Rygel Louv
I have been working as a Software Engineer for the last 10 years, including 7 years in the Fintech industry building mobile financial applications. In the past, I had the chance to build, train, and lead a team of mobile engineers. And for the past 4 years, I have worked with some of the smartest people in the world to help build a world of fair, fast and flexible remittances at Zepz, the company behind the brands SendWave and WorldRemit.
Outside of work, I co-host a Software Engineering podcast, write blog posts, give technical talks at local developer communities and conferences around Africa, mentor online students on Python and Android, and work on some open source projects.
My current main side project is Tanga an AI-powered mobile app that aims to be the simplest and most focused way to experience life-changing book summaries. Although it's open source, Tanga is a fully-fledged business being built from the ground up.
